We are pleased to invite you to the webinar entitled "Nature-Based Solutions for Flood Risk Policies: From Theory to Practice. Comparing France & the US", which will be held on February 28 from 4 PM to 5:30 PM.

Join us on February 28 for this 1st webinar in a series dedicated to the comparison of NbS between France and the United States.

This first webinar will focus on how Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) are appropriated in France and the United States at the national level, while presenting the international trajectory of this concept. This webinar is particularly aimed at stakeholders in territories and public policies interested in Nature-Based Solutions for water-related risks, especially floods.

We will address the following questions:

  • What are NBS for flood risk management policies?
  • Where does this concept come from and what is its international trajectory?
  • What are the main differences in the appropriation of NBS between France and the United States?
  • How can NBS contribute to water risk management?

This webinar will also be an opportunity to exchange and answer participants' questions.
